Auditions

Our 2008 season has been cast.

Berkeley Opera is committed to providing professional performance opportunities to talented singers from the Bay Area and beyond. To cast our productions we hold auditions once or twice a year, in late fall and, as needed, mid-winter.

Auditions are usually held in Berkeley and/or San Francisco. There is no cost to audition, and an accompanist is provided. As we are a small regional company, we cannot cover any expenses for those coming to audition for us or during the six- to eight-week rehearsal and production period.

We announce dates and details of auditions both on this web page and via email to interested singers.
