Berkeley Opera is committed to providing professional performance opportunities to talented singers from the Bay Area and beyond. To cast our productions we hold auditions once or twice a year, in late fall and, as needed, mid-winter. Auditions are usually held in Berkeley and/or San Francisco. There is no cost to audition, and an accompanist is provided. As we are a small regional company, we cannot cover any expenses for those coming to audition for us or during the six- to eight-week rehearsal and production period. We announce dates and details of auditions both on this web page and via email to interested singers.
