Volunteering

Berkeley Opera welcomes your participation and your ideas. Volunteers work on projects ranging from ticket sales efforts, distributing flyers, staffing membership tables at performances and events such as the Solano Stroll, working on and at fundraising events, and much more.

Other volunteer opportunities include singing in the chorus (subject to audition), helping prepare sets and props, assisting with wardrobe and makeup, and other production tasks.

Volunteer ushers are used for all performances and see the performance free in exchange for their assistance.
